    The Director, Retail Stores Marketing is responsible for providing leadership to a strategic, creative and analytical team.  This team develops marketing plans which help a growing number of people discover biblically sound and trustworthy resources that are immediately and locally available in LifeWay’s over 160+ stores.  LifeWay's retail business is one of the avenues that affords LifeWay to get Biblical Solutions for Life in the hands of individuals to meet life's needs.  

    Responsibilities

    The Director, Retail Stores Marketing is responsible for developing and executing a holistic and consistent content management strategy appropriate for the unique needs of our organization.

    • Lead in the development and implementation of a channel marketing plan that leverages LifeWay's marketing assets and promotes profitable growth.
    • Collaborate with other teams within the division to leverage the LifeWay stores channel to support key initiatives.
    • Lead creative teams in the development of and adherence to mission-driven brand messaging and design which are appropriate to critical customer segments.
    • Lead analytics team to determine key performance indicators for the LifeWay stores channel with focus on metrics that will lead to future growth; regular analysis and communication of marketing ROI for the channel.
    • Lead the organization to design effective processes and methods for growing mission-critical and high-return marketing assets such as email and mailing lists; work to expand footprint in marketing channels relevant to key segments to cost-effectively communicate with customers and prospects at greater speed and frequency.
    • Collaborate with data-consuming leaders and IT to ensure Stores team has quick access to accurate data for the purpose of marketing with responsibility for elevating needs and evaluating solutions.

     

     

    Qualifications

    The Director, Retail Stores Marketing must possess the following qualifications:

    • Master's degree in business, marketing or related field or equivalent combination of work and educational experience
    • Minimum eight (8) years leadership experience in marketing or other related fields, to include direct, digital and/or multi-channel marketing
    • Minimum five (5) years experience developing and effectively managing budget responsibilities
    • Demonstrated success developing and executing strategic direction - advanced
    • Communicates effectively adjusting style and presentation accordingly with internal and external with audiences of varied backgrounds - advanced
    • Possess solid business acumen and uses accordingly to achieve successful outcome - advanced
