LifeWay's Finance Department is seeking a Financial Analyst to provide financial and analytical support through the development, analysis, and interpretation of financial and operational data. In this position, you'll create reports designed to aid management and staff with comprehensive insight into financial data and trends.


  • Develop, analyze, and interpret financial and operational reports designed to aid management and staff of assigned work areas in understanding operating finances and contributions. Proactively perform analysis and financial communications as dictated by the organization
  • In collaboration with the leadership team of the assigned department, develop annual financial plan for the assigned business area, including: forecasting, budget scenarios, and detailed budget development.
  • Manage monthly close of LifeWay financials for the assigned business area, ensuring timely and complete information that accurately reflects financial performance. Includes revenue, expenses, and inventory review.
  • Develop and maintain process designed to aid in the evaluation of new opportunities, including business plans, strategic long-term growth opportunities, staffing model recommendations, break-even analysis, etc. Participate and support departmental and cross-functional projects.



  • 5 years of experience providing financial support and leadership in the areas of budgeting, operational analysis, and planning.
  • 3 years of experience in cost accounting focusing on contribution analysis and inventory management
  • 2 years of experience integrating data from multiple systems to perform financial analysis (including large data sets)
  • Advanced knowledge of financial software & systems
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, & critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated strength in written & verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong ability to manage time effectively
  • CMA and/or CPA preferred

Minimum travel required.


Minimum Education Required
Masters of Business Administration, with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting
