    The Marketing Manager, Student Ministry will lead a core marketing team, assisting ministry areas to achieve business goals by planning and leading the development of effective marketing campaigns, ensuring brand alignment and reaching target markets.


    • Work with director, business leaders and support teams to understand business needs and develop marketing campaigns that support the achievement of critical objectives while tracking and revising campaign actions based on effectiveness
    • Develop creative briefs that quickly bring the creative team up to speed on each campaign/action while focusing them on the right challenge, providining clear brand guidance
    • Detail all campaign actions, assets and needs for the marketing team, including budget, quantities and customer impact dates. Review and proof all campaign elements developed by the team (copy & design) for accuracy and adherence to the campaign concept, over-arching brand, and updating business leaders throughout.
    • Provide marketing thought leadership and develop the LifeWay Students leadership and marketing teams in marketing practice and key disciplines
    • Engage business leaders to initiate campaign concept development process; Guide teams through review and approval processes to reach final approved campaign concept
    • Seek innovation in marketing practice, campaign development, and product offerings through publishing, events, training, and LifeWay retail environments


    • 8-10 years of experience, involving marketing strategy and team leadership
    • Ability to analyze data and make strategic marketing decisions
    • Proven ability to develop campaigns 
    • Knowledge of multi-discipline marketing (Print, Digital, Development, Innovation)
    • Strong understanding of student ministry and/or church practices
    • Experience in budget management

    Minimum Education Required

    Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related
