    • Responsible for the reconciliation and balancing of all financial data received from LifeWay Church Resources sponsored camps and events.
    • Serve as the financial resource for the Registration and Subscription team by providing accurate data.
    • Reviews the LifeWay Accounts Open Payment report daily to identify and resolve inaccuracies in conjunction with Accounts Receivable.
    • Prepares monthly status report listing of all events in pre and post closing status/transitions, calculating number of days to close.
    • Analyze refunds, cancellations and transfers to eliminate discrepancies for the financial closing of camps and events. 
    • Reconciles and audits General Ledger financial data. Partners with staff accounts to reconcile Merchant Services and Paypal irregularities.
    • Reviews the Financial Summary report to account for money and outstanding registration balances prior to events/camps.
    • Processes day end, verifying accuracy and process completion.
    • Balance checks, sends documentation and physical checks to accounting to complete subscription deposits.
    • Prepares necessary journal entries to balance accounts moving monies from deferred revenue to income accounts.
    • Balances all cash transactions and enters necessary journal entries for year-end accounting, including monies in Business Objects (Oracle) and Aptify.
    • Assist registration and subscription representatives with questions regarding financial and event transactions.
    • Receives, researches and responds to financial inquiries and discrepancies presented by LifeWay Event producing components and customers. 



    Minimum Education Required:

    • Associates Degree - Accounting or Finance

    Years of Experience Required:

    • 2 General accounting experience
    • 1 Customer service experience

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:

    • Demonstrated working knowledge of Excel - Advance 
    • Utilizes excellent organizational skills - Advanced
    • Financial analytical and decision making skills - Advanced
    • High level of accuracy, attention to detail and problem solving abilities - Advanced
    • Demonstrated understanding of financial balancing, reconciliation and reporting - Advanced
