    The Construction and Maintenance Coordinator will provide support to LifeWay Retail Stores by overseeing contractors, architects, and key vendors critical to accomplishing the various projects and initiatives for the store development team.

    Responsibilities

     Maintenance/Repairs

    • Coordinate store maintenance requests and work orders for 3-4 District Directors, as well as store closing duties and chain wide store related initiatives
    • Point person for all Store Operations facility related questions and updates in specific region

    Construction Project Management Work

    • Coordinate the construction projects in region (New, Relocation, Acquisition, Remodels, and Enhancements)
    • Oversee emergency requests and restoration of work as needed in region (floods, hurricanes, sign outages, glass breakages, etc      

    Invoice Approvals

    • Manage work completion and review/approve invoices for specific regions maintenance and construction projects

     Landlord Reimbursements / Vendor Relations

    • Facilitate Property Management issues that involve landlord negotiations in specific region (eg. signage, property issues, HVAC) and track all work and reimbursements related to landlord responsibility to ensure completion and reimbursement as required
    • Assist in securing and overseeing all vendor relationships for both construction and property maintenance working closely with the other Construction and Maintenance Coordinator

    Qualifications

    • Proficiency in Word, Excel and overall computer knowledge
    • Attention to details and has ability to multi-task
    • Ability to handle time sensitive issues and quick to make decisions while considering cost impact
    • Strong teamwork, leadership, interpersonal and support skills
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Travel required.
    • Basic understanding of AutoCad

     

    Education,  Certification(s), Work Experience and Other Qualifications
    Bachelors degree in Business or Construction management or equivalent
