    LifeWay's Finance Department is seeking a Financial Analyst to provide business and financial guidance the area of retail. In this role, you'll work alongside retail leaders and provide guidance in the areas of budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, fixed asset management, reporting, and business plans/pro formas.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop, analyze, and interpret financial and operational reports designed to aid Store Operations management and staff in understanding the operating results, including monthly chain-wide and store specific contribution reports. Proactively prepare ad hoc analysis for retail area as required
    • In collaboration with Store Operations management, develop annual financial plan for the Store Operations including: forecasting, budget scenarios, and detailed budget development
    • Manage monthly close of LifeWay financials for retail area, ensuring timely and complete information that accurately reflects financial performance. Includes revenue, expenses, and inventory review
    • Develop and maintain process designed to aid in the evaluation of new opportunities within the retail area including, but not limited to business plans, strategic long-term growth opportunities, staffing model recommendations and break-even analysis. Participate in special projects as assigned

     

    Qualifications

    • 5 years of experience providing financial support and leadership in the areas of budgeting, operational analysis, and planning.
    • 3 years of experience integrating data from multiple systems to perform financial analysis (including large data sets)
    • 2 years of experience in cost accounting focusing on contribution analysis and inventory management
    • Advanced knowledge of financial software & systems
    • Strong analytical, problem solving, & critical thinking skills
    • Demonstrated strength in written & verbal communication and presentation skills
    • Strong ability to manage time effectively
    • CMA and/or CPA preferred

    Minimum travel required.

     

    Minimum Education Required
    Masters of Business Administration, with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting
