    The Finance Team at LifeWay is seeking a Business Analyst.  In this role, you’ll work alongside leaders in assigned business areas to provide leadership and expertise in the areas of budget and pro forma development, financial reporting and analysis; accounting processes, fixed asset management; and long term planning.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop, analyze, and interpret reports, including monthly reports, revenue analysis, dashboards monitoring metrics other indices
    • Proactively prepare ad hoc analysis for ministry areas
    • Develop annual financial plans including long term strategic planning, pipeline product and event development, and budget scenarios

    • Develop and maintain process designed to aid in the evaluation of new opportunities 

    • Support Ministry Area teams (as assigned) with operational support 

    • Participate in Finance Team led special projects

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Business Management, or Finance required
    • Pursuing or completed CPA or CMA certification or MBA degree preferred

     

    2-4 years experience including:

    • Providing financial support and leadership in the areas of budgeting, operational analysis, and planning
    • Experience working with large data sets and the ability to extract, summarize, and report results efficiently
    • Experience in cost accounting focusing on contribution analysis and inventory management

    Member or attending an evangelical Christian church
