    LifeWay’s Information Technology Division (tech.lifeway.com) is seeking an energetic team player for our A/V Engineer role. If you are a team player who is flexible, reliable and can make technology fun for our users, we need your expertise!  In this role you will own all event production and conference room A/V.

    • Leads production for on-site conferences and events
    • Operates production equipment including audio, video, lighting, and digital signage
    • Supports all videoconferencing and assists with room/equipment setup, troubleshooting, and user training.
    • Provides user training
    • Documents and communicates incidents and resolutions
    • Collaborates with internal and external departments to accomplish various tasks and projects


    Requirements, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Knowledge of A/V and other technical equipment
    • Fundamental understanding of networking
    • Ability to communicate and interact with employees on a technical and non-technical level
    • Strong written and verbal communication
    • Strong customer service orientation
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team environment
    • Critical thinking, organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills
    • Ability to work a varied schedule M-F

    Education, Certifications, and Work Experience:

    • Associates degree in computer science, broadcasting, audio/video engineering, or related field required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Two (2) years experience streaming video, conferencing, programming, video production, asset management
    • Two (2) years experience audio, video, lighting design and engineering
    • One (1) plus years general customer service experience (i.e., retail sales, call center) is preferred
