    The Manager, Stores Marketing is responsible for the development, creation and execution of marketing campaigns, events, and plans to retain, re-engage and acquire customers – with a goal of providing transformational resources to individuals and churches. An acute sense for details and follow-through and highly developed relational skills are integral elements of this position. This team develops marketing plans which help a growing number of people discover biblically sound and trustworthy resources that are immediately and locally available in LifeWay’s over 170+ stores.  

    Responsibilities

    • Manage the development and execution of consumer and church marketing campaigns, including print, digital, email, social media, online, promotional events, etc, as well as the associated budget
    • Analytical skills to evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations based upon data
    • Proactively steward management of projects, improvements and results
    • Work closely with internal partners in identifying cohesive & collaborative marketing opportunities to customers
    • Work closely with external vendors in identifying marketing opportunities
    • Ongoing monitoring, evaluation and modification of marketing plans based on results, as compared to objectives
    • Occasional overnight travel needed 
    • Other job duties as assigned




    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field of study
    • 8 years experience in a related marketing field
    • Advanced knowledge of multi-channel marketing and event coordination
    • Assess advertising media effectiveness for by customer segment
    • Budget management, combined with successful allocation of funds to maximize investment
    • Ability to analyze & resolve problems, acute ability to successfully manage several coinciding, detailed projects
    • Excellent written & oral communications, innovative, constantly challenging the status quo

    • Management experience required
    • Retail and CBA industry knowledge preferred
