    LifeWay is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator responsible for creating and expediting product and non-product purchase orders as determined by company policy, administering contracts and auditing supplier performance. This position acts as a liaison between internal LifeWay customers and various suppliers.


    • Supports and partners with Procurement Specialists to commit purchase orders.
    • Communicates with suppliers to obtain status of product jobs or expedite jobs as detailed and requested by Procurement Specialists.
    • Performs basic analysis and auditing of purchasing, supplier performance and product quality. Provides management with updates and feedback for the purpose of identifying improvements in processes.
    • With support of Buyers, Procurement Specialist and leaders, administers vendor contracts.
    • Collaborates with Analysts to establish and maintain appropriate reporting and inventory levels. Prepares reports for department leaders. Provides administrative and general support to procurement team.


    • Associates Degree with an emphasis in business, purchasing, negotiation or supply chain management
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Organizing and prioritization capabilities
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
    • Ability to collaborate with other departments
    • 0-1 years experience in purchasing, supply chain management or project management, print production, from a procurement or direct production
    • Exposure to ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP helpful
