    The DevOps Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining the platform(s) needed to maintain a multi-cloud environment that can reliably deliver products, resources and services across the globe. This role facilitates communication, collaboration, and integration between operations personnel and software engineers helping to rapidly produce results for our cutting-edge products and resources that are changing lives.

    Responsibilities

    • Builds and automates cloud infrastructure
    • Assists engineers and other operations team members in implementing and troubleshooting cloud (primarily AWS) infrastructure solutions
    • Works closely with architects to identify, research, and experiment with other cloud tools, technologies, and frameworks that will help our teams to move faster in our cloud environments
    • Optimizes the infrastructure for SaaS, PaaS and other cloud applications 
    • Mentors and trains DevOps, Systems, and Software Engineers, refines best practices for release management
    • Production code deployments 
    • Implement monitoring systems 
    • Infrastructure, testing, and benchmarking 
    • OS maintenance and ongoing system configuration change management 
    • Performance tuning 
    • Infrastructure and services documentation 
    • Load testing 
    • IT Infrastructure Security

    Qualifications

    • Two years of DevOps experience
    • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
    • Experience with GCP or Azure in lieu of AWS experience considered
    • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Scripting, and Automation
    • Intermediate to Advanced Linux skills
    • Experience with CI/CD tools
    • Knowledge of networking and security within a cloud infrastructure
    • Knowledge of Agile software development practices
    • Knowledge of PCI compliance, application layer and operations layer security and OWASP mandates preferred 
    • Superior problem solving skills
    • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
