    We are looking for a Software Engineer with API and back-end development skills who is motivated and interested in building services and integrations in modern, functional programming paradigms. You will work in a highly collaborative environment with teammates from varying backgrounds and skill sets coming together to solve challenging problems as a team.

    Responsibilities

    • Design and code integrations using REST APIs and event driven technologies (ie: Kafka)
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
    • Provide test plan, unit test development and maintenance and UAT testing support
    • Develop and improve relationships with internal customers and other divisional teams to accomplish various tasks and projects
    • Develop and execute plans for system and network implementations, maintenance, enhancements, and configuration changes

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, OR equivalent work and technical training experience
    • Knowledge of Java technologies
    • Git, github experience preferred
    • Willingness to learn functional programming paradigm
    • Strong analytical, problem solving, and creative thinking skills
    • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with both technical team members and stakeholders who may be less technical
    • Agile experience (Scrum/Kanban) preferred
    • Attendance or membership at a Christian church
