Lifeway is looking for our next Remote IT Procurement Specialist who will be responsible for the negotiation and procurement of goods and services for all enterprise technology needs including hardware and software. The IT Procurement Specialist will draft, articulate and execute RFIs/RFPs/RFQs, select suppliers and evaluate bids as well as monitor and expedite contract negotiations and renewals/cancellations.



This role is remote in the U.S with occasional travel (once/quarter) to Nashville for in-person team gatherings. 


  • Purchase assigned resources including all enterprise technology needs; monitor and expedite for on-time delivery, as well as resolve any issues before or after final delivery of product
  • Coordinates with IT department to stock IT vending machine
  • Responsible for purchasing all IT hardware and software including laptops, monitors, servers, software, and other services
  • Perform specification refinement, RFI/RFP/RFQ development, external and internal negotiation, and bid analysis will be used to determine supplier and product cost estimate for goods and services purchased. Coordinates contract development and execution process with legal services
  • Develop, maintain and strengthen existing and new supplier partnerships. Foster a working knowledge of Lifeway's vendor partner's capabilities to enhance the quality and function of purchased items.
  • Manage notifications and coordination of contract renewal dates to timely execute renewals or cancellations.
  • Identifies and implements cost saving opportunities.


  • Bachelors degree in business, purchasing, negotiation or supply chain management
  • 5+ years of experience purchasing and vendor management in technology, hardware, and software
  • Strong analytical, written and verbal communication, negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of contract development, financial and accounting (GAAP) principles
  • CPSM certification (or CPM and APP) preferred
