In this role, you will primarily create and implement frontend user interface components. You will work independently on deliverables but also participate in a very collaborative and agile environment with teammates from various backgrounds coming together to solve challenging problems as a team. This team is building a new digital content consumption application that is intended to provide its users with the best possible digital media engagement experience. This role is remote in the U.S with occasional travel to Nashville for in-person team gatherings.
Designs and implements the code necessary to solve technical problems (articulated as agile stories) primarily concentrating on frontend ones
Builds and maintains automated tests and CI/CD pipelines for code produced
Troubleshoots and resolves technical problems
Works closely and collaboratively with an agile team and its product owner to help break down business requirements into stories
Evaluates existing software
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related degree preferred
Agile experience (Scrum and/or Kanban)
Experience with native iOS and/or Android development
Git, GitHub experience
Exposure to AWS (Amazon Web Services) or other cloud technology experience including AWS Lambdas
Exposure to message-driven or event-driven architecture experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
