Senior Pastor Specialist | Remote

Lifeway is hiring a full time Senior Pastor Specialist.  In this role you will serves as a thought leader and a relationship builder for ministry to senior pastors representing Lifeway to leaders in the evangelical church. You will build and connect with networks of senior pastors to train and equip them to lead in the local church. You will develop strategic plans for equipping senior pastors and develops content for training classes, events, webinars, and other related content. You will collaborate with the Church Equipping team to develop Lifeway’s discipleship, leadership, and relational voice to the church and serves cross-functionally with other Lifeway teams to ensure a united approach to senior pastors in the local church.

This is a remote position in the U.S. with occasional travel to Nashville for in-person team gatherings. #LI-Remote 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Following is a summary of the essential functions. Other duties may be performed which are not mentioned below.

• Develops strategic plans for equipping senior pastors in ministry on a national level by determining the training programs, events, and content needed to serve the evangelical church.
• Serves as a thought leader through speaking, teaching, and writing as needed to further appropriate messages related to senior pastor.
• Builds networks of senior pastors and connects with pre-existing networks to develop trainers to provide strategic programs, events, and content for all types of evangelical churches.
• Oversees content development and choosing of trainers for courses, articles, video training, online training, events, and other strategic programs designed for senior pastors.
• Supports Ben Mandrell and the ministry of the Glass House to connect with and minister to senior pastors.

Minimum Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum Required Experience:

• 10 years of church staff or denominational experience
• 5 years of intentional networking experience
• 5 years of training and Leadership content development

Other Job Requirements:

• Member / active participant in an evangelical Christian church
• Southern Baptist, preferred
• Ability to travel 40-50 days per year
