Overview

Experienced Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Manager to oversee and manage the transformation from current on-premises applications to hosted solutionsERP Manger is responsible for ensuring that our systems are efficient, effective, and aligned with our business needsThis will include leading a team of software analysts and developers who design, develop, test, and manage regularly scheduled and required patches provided by the vendorThe team will work with the EA Integration Services team to manage, schedule, and modify integrations between Saas solutions and other systems within Lifeway. The ERP Manager will ensure engineers build resilient, testable, highly available, scalable, and innovative solutions using modern cloud architectures.

This is a remote position in the U.S. with occasional travel to Nashville for in-person team gatherings. #LI-Remote 

 

Responsibilities

  • Lives out Lifeway’s mission and values, showing deep commitment to Kingdom work
  • Lead implementation, configuration, and management of cloud-based ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Cloud ERP), ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and maintain an ERP roadmap to support scalability and strategic objectives.
  • Establish best practices, workflows, and documentation to enhance ERP system efficiency and reliability.
  • Manage workload across teams, assess risks, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely, cost-effective results.
  • Build and lead high-performing teams, providing mentorship, training, and clear expectations.
  • Guide engineers in developing scalable, resilient ERP systems with strong monitoring and alerting.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize system performance and project outcomes.
  • Implement security measures, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and partners to manage data integration and compliance needs.
  • Oversee ERP budgeting, including licensing, maintenance, and vendor negotiations, to optimize costs.
  • Some travel required, occassionally overnight.

 

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related degree, or equivalent experience, required

Master of Business Administration or Technology, preferred

Advanced graduate degree (PhD, etc.), not required

 

Skills, Knowledge, & Experiences, required

  • 2-3 years of experience in Oracle Cloud ERP systems management and implementation.
  • 8+ years of experience in ERP systems.
  • 5+ years of experience in team management.
  • 2+ years hands-on software analyst or development experience.
  • Implementing and managing Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM solutions.
  • Proficient understanding of integrations with SaaS solutions, Cloud hosted solutions, and on-premises applications.
  • Proficient in collaborating with stakeholders, contributing to product definition, and defining technical strategy.
  • Advanced ability to communicate complex technical information (both verbal and written) to all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Proficient ability to prioritize and execute tasks across multiple projects and business areas.
  • Proficient experience in collaborating and negotiating with third-party vendors to achieve project objectives.
  • Proficient experience in developing and maintaining department budgets.
  • Proficient experience recruiting and hiring team members, such as architects, developers, and analysts.
  • Proven track record (Advanced) of mentoring, coaching, training, and disciplining software engineering team members
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall).
  • Proven experience in guiding and challenging cross-functional teams, including developers and analysts.

Skills, Knowledge, & Experiences, preferred

  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
