Lifeway IT is seeking a forward thinking Senior Network Engineer in Nashville or the surrounding area with a heart to serve the customer who can design and maintain a robust network infrastructure while looking to the future with innovation. The position requires excellent problem solving skills working with cutting edge technologies that are empowering Lifeway employees to change lives around the world. These responsibilities will require the candidate to be a Subject Matter Expert across network technologies, security, services, and additional related components.
This position will interact daily with the IT Operations Team, Business Partners, Vendors, IT staff, as well as end users, developing network and security solutions to meet business requirements. Project management and problem management skills are required to effectively meet business objectives and Service Level Agreements. The primary areas of focus will be:
- Design and installation of Cisco and Meraki network infrastructure; design, deploy, and maintain complex enterprise solutions, utilizing best practice routing and switching technologies
- Design, implementation and support for network security technologies and products (Cisco ISE, firewalls, etc.)
- Design and configuration of F5 Load-balancing

We are looking for a highly collaborative Remote Senior Software Development Engineer - Cloud who is motivated and interested in building applications and services in modern, cloud-based serverless paradigms. This role will work with an event-driven architecture and reactive microservices to deliver mission-critical business solutions using cutting-edge technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Serverless, and Kafka all hosted in AWS. Specifically, you will create, implement, maintain, test, and review code forthe necessary components and services for Lifeway's Customer Insights team. You will help aggregate customer data from various applications and APIs across Lifeway to create a dynamic 360 view of our Customers. You will work independently in a very collaborative environment with teammates from various backgrounds coming together to solve challenging problems as a team. You will also work closely with members from our Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to understand their needs. The Director, Enterprise Applications oversees the operation and strategic planning of the applications department and ensures its enterprise applications and distinct software packages align with the business objectives. This individual’s principal goals are to provide leadership in the design, definition and enterprise-wide use of the applications that support business units, enhance the effectiveness of the ERP and supported applications, and align resources to meet the Information Technology goals. The Director, Enterprise Applications will work closely with decision makers to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions. This individual is also responsible for supporting and assisting in the integration of existing and new applications in support of IT’s business objectives. The candidate will oversee the applications teams and is a key participant in the development of the IT Strategic Plan.

We are looking for a passionate and highly collaborative Principal Software Development Engineer (SDE) who will work across diverse agile teams and will be responsible for helping to set guardrails and create consistency in how we develop applications and services for Lifeway. As a Principal SDE you will lean in on more complex solutions by owning the design and guiding development teams in their execution. You will be helping all development teams work more efficiently and think strategically about their work and the performance of their products. In this role you will work closely with the Director, Digital Experiences, but will also be expected to be a technical lead for your SDE peers and continue to set high standards for the quality of work produced within the organization. You will work closely with the community of Sr. SDEs to review high-level proposals as well as provide input on the selection of technology. They take an interest at every level of development and are passionate about process improvement and innovation. This Principal SDE role will be dedicated to our Lifeway.com engineering teams and would be familiar with building applications with React.js and familiar with its ecosystem (Redux, GraphQL, AWS AppSync, Jest, Next.js, etc.). This is a unique opportunity to combine the art of design with the art of programming, specifically taking an active role in how we can create innovative applications in the future.

We are looking for an innovative Director of IT Operations to join our IT team! The global church is quickly moving towards more digital ministry solutions. Lifeway is hitting the gas pedal and moving towards creating cutting edge, trustworthy experiences for churches. Our next Director of IT Operations will help lead us into this new season. Operational excellence and continuous improvement are at the heart of this position due to the critical nature of the oversight responsibilities. This includes end user services, network / infrastructure / cloud operations, DevOps, and incident/ change management across the corporate office, warehouse, distribution center, and two major data centers.
