We are looking for a highly-collaborative Senior Software Engineer who is motivated and interested in building applications and services in modern, functional programming paradigms. This role will work with an event-driven architecture with reactive microservices that uses event sourcing and CQRS to deliver mission-critical business solutions using cutting-edge technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Serverless, and Kafka all hosted in AWS. Specifically, you will create, implement, and maintain the necessary components and services for LifeWay's core ecommerce shopping site, LifeWay.com, as well as a Lite Checkout version serving other modern, sophisticated digital apps: MinistryGrid.com, SmallGroup.com and more. You will work independently while also participating in a very collaborative environment with teammates from various backgrounds coming together to solve challenging problems as a team. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is important.

As our Director of Data Management & Analytics you will work closely with our CITO, LifeWay IT teams (tech.lifeway.com), and be responsible for implementing Lifeway’s data strategy, which includes: data architecture planning and execution, data operations (API, ETL development, data warehouse management), identifying current and future data needed to support the organization including governance over the business data, and providing business intelligence reporting.
As the Director of Data Management & Analytics, you will understand the ongoing requirements of our business units and will help evolve our overall Data Strategy, Governance and BI/Analytics/Big Data ecosystem to support new tools and design shifts that enable the business to be successful in a high-growth environment. This includes short and long-term planning, staff management, optimizing processes and technology, and ensuring an appropriate BI/data platform is delivered in a highly distributed, complex business environment.

LifeWay Christian Resources, headquartered in Nashville, TN, seeks an experienced, engaging, and visionary Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) who wants to become part of an exciting, vibrant community of information technology professionals supporting LifeWay’s diverse business.
The CISO is an advocate for the Lifeway’s total information security needs and is responsible for the development and delivery of a comprehensive information security strategy to optimize the security posture of the company. They will lead the development and implementation of a security program that leverages collaborations and company-wide resources, facilitates information security governance, advises senior leadership on security direction and resource investments, and designs appropriate policies to manage information security risk. The complexity of this position requires a leadership approach that is engaging, imaginative, and collaborative, with a sophisticated ability to work with other leaders to set the best balance between security strategies and other priorities at an operations level. This person is expected to be a hands-on leader.
